Clementines or baby oranges, how some might call them, are very popular. Not just because they have a lot of Vitamins in them but also because they are very sweet yet have no sugar or fat in them.
Some people believe, that eating a clementine can help you when you are dealing with a cold or prevent you from catching a cold.
And let’s be honest – all mums know how much do their kids love ice cream! So why not to mix a fruit, that is really good and sweet, and an ice cream which is one of the things that our little ones really love?
And what can be even better than letting the little ones help us?
Here is a recipe that you can follow and have some great time making the clementine sorbet!
To prepare this recipe you’ll need the following:
✓ 50 g granulated sugar
✓ 5 clementines
✓ 1 lemon
How To Put Together:
1. Place a pan over a low heat, add the sugar and 100ml water. Bring to the boil, then simmer for 5 minutes until the sugar has dissolved, then pour into a jug.
2. Squeeze the clementine and lemon juice into the jug, stir and chill in the fridge. When cold, pour into a freezersafe container and place in the freezer.
3. Chill for 1 hour, then whisk every 30 minutes for 2 hours to break up the ice crystals
4. Freeze the mixture until solid but remember to take it out about 10 minutes before serving to soften.
